Available for Hire!
Do you like my style? Do you think I would be a nice fit inside your design or development team? Well, lucky you, I'm available for hire! I'm looking for a permanent position, anywhere in Central London or in any part of South East England I could reach by train, or other public transport, from Colchester. I'm considering freelancing too, and if I can get enough work, I'm definitely on board for that.
I am a designer with more than 6 years of commercial experience, in both graphic and digital design areas. I started very early in my life, doing websites and small projects for people, together with a friend, from who I learned a lot. Since then, I continually kept learning and growing my skill set, and now I am a complete all-rounder: I have experience and knowledge in layout, graphic design, artworking, hand-coded tableless HTML + CSS web design, Flash design and development, PHP + mySQL development and even Mac OS X software development. Add to that my design flair and my attention to detail, my reliability as an employee, and my friendly personality as well as my communication skills, and you got the perfect opportunity for me to leave my mark in the British design community, while further growing and affronting challenges; and for you to find someone who will fit in almost any kind of role related to design, integrating perfectly in a team, and delivering top quality work, even under pressure.
You maybe think that I'm young and since I haven't graduated in design, I'm probably inexperienced and unreliable. Think again! Yes, I am self taught, but I'm also very proud of it, as it means I will always be able to further learn and expand my knowledge, getting better and better, without the need of someone teaching me. And I definitely have the knowledge, but all gained through experience. I do learn very fast, and that's why I've done so many different things in design, while even studying something completely unrelated. After working in a design / advertising agency for about a year, I took the opportunity and made the step to working on my own, as this offered me great comfort (working from home) and made me more flexible in my working hours. This gave me a strong foundation in self-discipline and organisation, and I successfully managed to keep working as a freelance while the worldwide economics faded into crisis.
Take a look at my portfolio, and decide for yourself. If you like what you see, and think my skills and my style could contribute to your business, don't miss the opportunity! I'm looking to start working as soon as possible. Send me an email () or give me a ring (0759 525 64 39) and lets have a chat! You can also download a PDF version of it, by clicking here. If you are a recruiter, this will be very useful, because it has no contact information on it.
On the other hand, even after I start working somewhere, I can still do some work in my spare time, so if you want a great looking web page or whatever your needs are for good design, don't hesitate to contact me. And feel free to send my details to someone you know, who may be interested in my services.
